We are approaching our twelve months anniversary. My wife and I will be celebrating our four year anniversary on Nov. 5th.
Every year fom the first until the seventh I always make her breakfast in bed and kill myself making her dinner (damn it all for mac ‘n cheese not being a romantic meal lol).
I need suggestions on what else I could do, possible dinner or breakfast suggestions.
For her gift this year I got her grandmothers wedding ring from her grandfather, had it cleaned and sized and am giving her that (it’s a platinum claddaugh ring with a blue diamond for the crown – she’s wanted it since she was a kid, and every time we see her grandfather it’s all she talks about). You think that’ll work? It doesn’t make me seem cheap right, since I didn’t but it?

i’m baffled to how to proceed here. My 13 years old boy has run out of control and I’m not sure how to proceed any longer. I’ve attempted everything i understand, from star charts to grounding…From relearning my method of raising a child (thinking it had been me and never him) to lower right as being a large meanie…NOTHING and that i mean nothing works. It has been getting continuously worse for four years now and i’m inside my ropes finish.
He’s only 2 chores our schedule is really as such get home study until 4:30 or 5 pm he then may spend time together with his buddies or play games..After dinner he needs to perform the dishes (as i sweep and do counters the husband scrapes plates and also the two small ones clean the table and chairs) and each morning he needs to feed HIS equine.
He feeds his equine daily that’s all he is doing if he is doing do dishes he only does half (there exists a dishwasher) does not clean his room is acting out in school (speaking) he will not give consideration when told to behave actually he ignores us. Continues to be stealing goodies (we have them seperate within our room since this past year as he began taking whole packages and eating them) if I only say no to soda he takes it to college rather. He sneaks from his room as he is grounded…
The equine has been offered in a few days and that i took away just about everything he’s having a possibility of generating the products (not the equine I can not take proper care of her on my own) back. He talks nasty at me calls me dude as well as known as a woman a wh*re before me he was delivered to his room for your and needed to write 100 sentences about improving women.. I intend on getting it a yacht club during the night (do not have to purchase this). I’m graduation having a bachelor’s in Veterinary technology in May. I’ve got a three years old boy and lastly finishing this degree is one of the greatest accomplishment I possibly could have so I have to celebrate it. I’m not sure which i may have money for catering or perhaps an costly band. Plus i got married this season without having any visitors or perhaps a reception. Could it be tacky to combined the 2?
Idealy I imagine just cocktails plus some type of music, maybe snacks. Simple adornments, most likely some whitened christmas lights. What if this should cost? I’ve no clue on guest amounts maybe 50 people or perhaps a couple of more. Any food or dirnk must be purshed by me there’s no bar or food service in the club. So essentially I will need to purchase the alcohol and perhaps someone to combine it.
Would you typically earn money in a graduation party (ie cash gifts)?
